Most days, this work is pretty straightforward: you show up, you know what you’re doing, and by the end of the shift something real has changed about a home. A drafty old double-hung is gone. A new Therma-Tru door is seated, shimmed, and sealed. The homeowner sees the before-and-after photos we take on every job, and they get it. That’s the job.
At Juniper Windows & Doors, we’ve been doing this since 2001 as part of the Relay Home Co. family. We don’t do general remodeling. We don’t do plumbing or paint. We do windows and doors, and we do them well enough that we put the price in writing before a single screw turns. If you want to work on a crew that runs clean, communicates straight, and actually finishes what it starts, read on.
Who We’re Looking For
- Window & Door Installer: The person who can read a rough opening, knows when a frame is out of plumb before the level even touches it, and takes pride in a weathertight seal.
- Apprentice Installer: Someone handy, willing to carry, learn, and ask good questions – the kind who watches what the lead does and remembers it the next day.
- Lead Technician: An experienced hand who can run a crew, manage a timeline, and talk a homeowner through a tricky decision without making them feel dumb.
- Dispatcher / Scheduler: Detail-oriented, calm under a full calendar, and good at keeping crews and customers updated in real time.
- Customer Service Representative: A clear communicator who understands that when a homeowner calls, they want a real answer from a real person – not a callback queue.
- Estimator / Sales Consultant: Someone who can look at a job, price it honestly, and put that number in writing without flinching – because we always do.
What We Offer
Real Training and a Path Forward
We don’t drop new people into jobs and hope for the best. Apprentices work alongside experienced installers, learning product lines like PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, and ViewLux on real projects from day one. The path from apprentice to lead technician is defined, not vague. If you put the work in, we notice.
Work You Can Actually Be Proud Of
Every job at Juniper runs under The Relay Visibility Guarantee: written price before we start, before-and-after photos on every project, and a live arrival time the customer can track. That structure keeps jobs clean and keeps crews accountable – in a good way. When the work is done right, there’s nothing to hide, and we’re not hiding anything.
Local Crew, National Backing
Each Juniper location is independently owned and operated, which means you’re working with a tight local crew – not a faceless regional roster. But that crew has access to eight product lines and the operational systems of the broader Relay Home Co. family behind it. Small-team feel, serious infrastructure.
Steady, Year-Round Demand
Windows and doors aren’t seasonal the way landscaping or roofing can be. Homeowners need them replaced in January and in July. That steady demand is part of why we’ve been at this since 2001. We’re not chasing trends – we’re meeting a need that doesn’t go away.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve worked construction, hung cabinets, framed walls, or spent time doing any kind of finish carpentry, you’re closer to this work than you think. Reading a level, understanding how materials move with temperature and humidity, knowing when a measurement is off by enough to matter – those skills transfer directly.
What we teach: our specific product lines, weatherproofing and flashing details, the way we document jobs with photos, and how we run a job site so the homeowner always knows what’s happening. The first few months, you’ll work alongside an experienced installer. You won’t be thrown into a solo job until you’re ready. We built the 365-Day Done Right Promise into every project because we stand behind the work – and that starts with making sure the people doing the work know what they’re doing. Come ready to learn, and we’ll give you something worth learning.
How to Apply
Call us at (682) 281-2168 – a real person picks up – or use the application form below. Tell us where you’re based, what you’ve worked on (construction background, previous trades, tools you’re comfortable with), and when you’re available to start. Hiring is handled locally, so your application goes to the Juniper crew nearest you. No resume required, but specific is better than general.
